About Hypnosis

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a state of concentrated attention on one particular idea or concept. You are not asleep, and you are not in a 'trance' state which is commonly associated with films.

We all naturally go into hypnosis at least twice a day. When just entering sleep and on waking.
Have you ever been driving somewhere and when you reach your destination wonder how you got there?
Ever read a book and completely ignored someone talking to you as you did not hear them?

When guided into this deep state of relaxation a trained hypnotherapist can communicate directly with the subconcious mind and with a variety of ideas and suggestions, reprogam it.

During this relaxed state a person may appear to be sleeping, but they are more receptive to, hearing, taste, feeling, and smell, they are also fully aware and able to communicate and open their eyes whenever they want to, they just choose not to!. Neither will anyone be made to do anything they do not want to, as the concious mind would come to the fore ground and bring them out of the relaxed state.
